This is the annual summer party one of my clients holds for their longterm staff and it’s always a memorable venue, from the shadow of Tower Bridge to the penguin enclosure at ZSL London Zoo. This year they went for a Ravens Ait party, and what a great venue for a summer party!
If you’ve not heard of Ravens Ait it’s a small island on the Thames near Kingston, now set up as an event and wedding venue. So what with the gorgeous weather, crazy golf, ice cream, and plenty to eat and drink, all on a private island on the Thames… how could your summer party go wrong? (spoiler: it doesn’t, it was fantastic!)
As well as the huge lawn, where mostly everyone will be if the weather’s great, there’s a marquee-style indoor area right next to it, so you could have your whole party in there if the weather turned. Plus it’s a great place to lay on food even if the sun is out all day!
