One of my regular clients is a publisher that hosts several awards nights throughout the year for their various publications, and this year they moved one of their events to Alexandra Palace in north London. It’s always a lot of fun being their corporate awards photographer, and the theatre in Alexandra Palace was one of my favourite event venues of the year, with so many vantage points to capture the stunning architecture and presentation!
Here’s some of my favourite event photos from this year’s Women’s Recognition Awards, in association with the Financial Reporter. Their guest speaker was Nicola Thorp, an actress who made headlines a while ago when she highlighted the dress code policy for women at PwC, with particular respect to the rule that women wear heels at all times (since changed, by the way). Live music before and after the awards themselves was performed by Class of ’99, highly recommended!

Hiya, the super wides were all on the Fuji 8-16mm, everything else will have been on Fuji’s fastest primes, probably the 16, 23, 35 and 56. Cheers!
