In November last year I got to photograph literally the best black tie ball I’ve had the privilege of being part of, all thanks to the organiser Ali Welsh of Ali Welsh Events – thanks Ali! From the stunning entrance hall decked out like mid-20th century America, to the incredible fleet of magicians (not one, not two, but at least six that I remember, if not more!), not to mention the actors dressed as glamour girls, army boys and NYPD mingling through the crowd, and the incredible double-whammy of entertainment from both the cast of Jersey Boys plus the utterly mindblowing Earthlights Boogie Band, the evening just flew by and I can’t wait for next year!
