A children’s birthday party is often just as much for the adults in the family to get together and celebrate as it is for the children, as so many of us are scattered around the city, country, or even the world and don’t get much chance to come together. This third birthday party for Stella was definitely one for the kids, though, and as I’ve been making portraits for this family for many years it was a pleasure to be their childrens party photographer too.

Stella’s mum and dad booked a private room at Beaufort House in Chelsea, and did an absolutely incredible job of transforming it fit for a pink birthday spectacular, with a wonderful long table for dinner, a ball pool (always a massive hit!), a balloon modeller, a face paint artist, and an incredible party entertainer (see below for links). Between the three of them they kept the party moving and everybody happy and safe for hours, and I can highly recommend them all for your next children’s birthday party!

My speciality is candid, documentary photography (with a touch of style) and that’s just perfect for a children’s party. Nobody is standing still for too long, making it almost impossible for parents to get posed pics of their little ones having fun, so I’m there to capture as many natural moments of joy and excitement as I can.

Those are the photos I love to look back on, the real ones full of atmosphere and emotion, and in years to come as your little ones grow up they’ll be the ones they enjoy the most in your album, guaranteed.

If you like my style of photos and would like to book a childrens party photographer yourself you can find all the details and get in touch right here.
