One of my clients is an event venue in the heart of London, with in-house catering provided by Houston & Hawkes, an independent B-Corps caterer. In spring they start preparing their summer menu refresh, and we spent the day at their venue in the glorious sunshine photographing every last new addition to the menu. It’s always a fun day, working with the lovely venue staff and the very talented chefs. Here’s just a small selection from that day – stick around to the end for a lovely shot of the chefs responsible for all this delicious food.

(And yes I got to try a bit of everything, because we didn’t need to employ any cheeky tricks to make the food look more appetising; I’ve seen everything: butter instead of ice cream, oil lavishly painted over dry meat, tampons dipped in steaming hot water then planted behind a plate of ‘hot food’ that long since went cold, and many more even dirtier tricks… We didn’t need any of those here!)
