I was commissioned by a PR agency representing Avios (the British Airways reward currency scheme) to shoot some commercial PR images promoting a tie-in with the Wicked stage production in London. We had a couple of hours with the BA reps, Wicked’s principle cast, and the glorious stage sets at The Apollo Victoria theatre, and took full advantage of the opportunity to get the exact shots the client wanted, reviewing on site before we finished up.
Two hours felt like a luxurious amount of time to create the few unique images that were required but when there’s commercial implications at stake and especially for global brands it’s always better to take a bit more time and try a few options at a steady pace than to rush through a limited shoot and possibly forget something. We ended up shooting a variety of combinations of reps, talent, and branded signage, in various spots around the auditorium, before settling on these two (plus vertical versions).
If you’re looking for a commercial PR photographer in London and like what you see please do drop me a line with a few details for a personal quote. I’m usually able to get back to you within 24 hours.
