A bat mitzvah or bar mitzvah is such an important part of a Jewish upbringing, so it’s super important to make sure you’ve got lots of photos with all your family and friends around you so you can re-live the occasion years later when you’re all grown up – and your parents are going to cherish those photos too! But you don’t want to spend the night behind your camera, of course, and that’s where my event photography skills come in, so you can focus on enjoying yourselves at the party while I take care of the photographs for you.
Coco’s bat mitzvah was downstairs in the private rooms at London’s The Soho Hotel, a luxurious hotel tucked away down a side street in Soho, and well worth a visit if you fancy treating yourself to a city break – they’ve even got a private screening room with incredibly comfy orange leather seats.
Coco also had a dancer called Nicky along to help keep the party bouncing, as well as a DJ, a jukebox, and some fantastic mocktails for under-18s that were so delicious I kept nipping back to the bar to grab another (it’s thirsty work photographing a bat mitzvah as awesome as this one), and then sushi for dinner (her favourite) and goody bags including a Coco-themed t-shirt and chocolate bar for everyone as they left. Now that’s what I call a fantastic party!
If you like my style of event photography and want me to photograph your own bat mitzvah or bar mitzvah you can find all the details and get in touch right here. Speak to you soon!
While you’re here: I love saying hello to people like you who check out my journal posts, so if you like these photos and they made you smile, please do leave a comment to say hello underneath the gallery. Thanks!
