Adventure Cinema, an outdoor cinema company, commissioned me to capture a new set of marketing images at their Wicked screening in Kew Gardens, London. The images were intended for use across their website and social media, both to promote future Wicked screenings and to provide versatile content for other events. The challenge was to create a mix of event-specific shots alongside general imagery that could be reused for social posts, promotions, and marketing campaigns.

The shoot began about an hour before doors opened. In the golden summer evening sunlight I started with images of the impressive screen set among the Kew Gardens scenery, making sure to include the nearby Great Pagoda in the background where possible. I captured the premium deckchair seating and collected shots of the upgradeable goodie bags in situ, by which time the food and drink stands were ready, including pizzas, desserts, and the mobile bar.

Once doors opened, I shifted to candid coverage of guests arriving, setting up picnics, and enjoying the screening, highlighting kids and adults alike in fancy dress, singing along with the film, and just generally having a great time at an Adventure Cinema screening.

Here’s a selection of my favourite images from the shoot. If you need marketing photography for your own outdoor events, get in touch today to check availability and request a personalised quote.
