It’s that time of year again! The Christmas cheese board is finished, the Doctor Who Christmas special has been and gone (although there’s still Sherlock to look forward to!) and it’s nearly time to take the tree down…
It’s also time for me to look back at the many thousands of photos I made in 2016 and pick out just a hundred or so favourites to share with you, my lovely Friends of OBP, and I loved every minute of it!
This year I’ve made some wonderful new friends and photographed some of London’s most spectacular venues playing host to some incredible parties. And I’ve delivered over 10,000 finished photographs and nearly two dozen beautiful albums, capturing all the love, laughter and tears at dozens of weddings, receptions, birthdays and anniversaries, and even a surprise proposal on an old fashioned Routemaster bus. (She said yes!)
Putting this year’s highlight reel together brought a tear to my eye several times and left me in no doubt that photographing family stories is one of the most fulfilling, creative, satisfying jobs I could hope to have.
Thank you so much, to each and every person who follows my work and trusted me to photograph their family and friends. I couldn’t do it without you!
