A look at some of my work as a Buffini Chao Deck photographer. I’m very lucky that I get to visit so many wonderful London venues, and the Buffini Chao Deck is another event photography goal ticked off the list. This corporate Christmas party had everything you need: great views, great music, great food and drink, a 360 selfie station, a caricature artist, and me of course. Just add guests and enjoy the party!
The goal when I’m photographing Christmas parties is to capture as much of the atmosphere as possible – some Christmassy venue and detail shots, all the speeches, but mainly dozens of classic candid moments between your guests. For a drinks-and-canapes party in a fairly intimate venue like Buffini Chao Deck I’d typically recommend at least 2-4 hours of photography coverage, enough to get the shape of the evening and wrapping it up before everyone gets a little bit too messy…
