As a London-based food and beverage photographer I create fresh new images for restaurants, bars, and high end caterers, suitable for use on menus, social media, websites, and brochures. Do you have a studio?
All of my food and drink work has been shot entirely on location, either in natural daylight or using a constant light source such as an LED light with adjustable colour temperature.
How much does food & drink photography cost?
Fees vary depending on what you need, and where and when we shoot it. Typically a half day (up to four hours on-site) starts around £775 plus VAT, and a full day is around £1,500 plus VAT. Very few food & beverage photography shoots take less than a half day but every shoot is different and I’m always happy to discuss what you need and see what we can do for you.
Can we use the images for anything we want?
As standard I include unlimited in-house use (e.g. menus, brochures) and editorial use (e.g. a press release or an industry magazine article) and one year of paid use (e.g. advertising campaigns). I don’t include commercial use in a paid product, or the right to sell or sub-license images, just because most food & beverage photography clients don’t need that, but if you need to extend the license we can usually arrange it for you.
How many images do we get?
As many as are needed to fill the brief you supply, and typically a few extras that we may have shot on the day and feel you might like.
Can we get the raw files to edit ourselves?
Typically I provide edited high resolution JPGs. I can provide the raw files if arranged in advance, for clients who legitimately need to edit in-house – for example, to match a campaign style.
Do you charge for travel?
For shoots in central and SW London if I can travel light on public transport (i.e. cameras, lenses, simple lighting) travel is included. If I need to drive or take a taxi to carry equipment I charge related expenses such as parking, Congestion Charge, or taxi fees. For shoots outside London I charge a combined fee for travel time and expenses.
