I specialise in documentary-style party and event photography in and around London, capturing all the fun and excitement of how it felt to be there, for you to enjoy for years to come. Since 2007 I’ve photographed hundreds of birthdays, anniversaries, bar- & bat-mitzvahs, house-warming parties, engagement parties, and more. Basically, if there’s people having a great time together, I’d love to photograph it for you!

And here’s the best part (for most of my clients anyway!) – you don’t have to spend the whole night posing for me. Just forget about me and enjoy the party, leaving me to capture all those happy memories for you just the way they happened.

How it works


1. Availability & booking

Get in touch with your date, location, and timings, and I’ll get back to you with full package details and a custom quote.

If there’s anything you’re not sure about, like how long you need photography for, let me know and we’ll look at the options together before booking.

2. On the night (or day)

On the day or night of your event I’ll arrive early to say hello and get my bearings, and after that you can pretty much forget about me and focus on enjoying the event itself!

My documentary approach to event photography means I simply fit in around you looking for details and wide shots, natural moments and happy people. There’s no need to keep posing for me all night, although if you’d like a couple of family group shots before things kick off for real it’s no problem, let me know.

3. Your finished photos

All the finished images are uploaded to a private online gallery which you’re welcome to share with your guests, or family and friends that couldn’t be there with you.

From there you’ll be able to browse the full gallery of photos, choose favourites for an album, and order beautiful museum-quality prints. You also get one set of high-res digitals to download for your personal use, and you’re welcome to share your favourite photos on Instagram etc.

Some parties are so special you’ll want to keep your favourite photos close to remind you what a great day it was. You’ll have a full digital archive backed up on your hard drive, but be honest – how often are you going to sit at your computer and scroll through a folder of digital event photos? It feels a bit like buying a Porsche and keeping it in the garage, and I want you to have a much better experience than that.

I genuinely believe you’ll re-visit those wonderful party memories far more often for years to come when they’re all wrapped up in a beautiful story-book album. It’s a physical memento you’ll always cherish, and you’ll never need a plug, battery, or data connection to enjoy it.

My event photography albums come in 8×8 and 10×10, made with double-page spreads of thick, smooth paper that open completely flat so photos don’t disappear into the central binding, all wrapped up in an engraved leatherette hardback cover. Just choose your favourites and I’ll design it all for you, with two rounds of your adjustments to get it just right.

A custom-designed leatherette album starts at £216 including the design session and courier delivery in the UK, and a discount when you order with your photography at booking. And if your family would like a copy too there’s an extra discount for duplicates.

Frequently asked questions


How do we book?

Just get in touch to tell me a bit about your event and if I’m available we’ll work out a package, then I’ll set up a booking page on my website for you. There’s a deposit to pay and a booking agreement we both sign, then the date’s reserved and you’re all booked in.

How many photos do we get?

Every event is different and it depends what you have planned. There’s no lower or upper limit but to give you an idea, from a four hour booking I’d typically deliver around 250-300 photos in your online gallery and your digital archive.

Will the photographs be colour or B&W?

Usually a mixture of both, but mostly colour. I’ll give everything a creative polish that suits the occasion, and I avoid heavy fashion-style ‘airbrush’ retouching of people. Your family and friends much prefer the real you!

When do we receive our books & digitals?

Images from corporate events start to upload around 2-3 days after the event. For family events & celebrations it usually takes around a week to finish processing everything. Albums take around 14-21 days after approval to be produced and delivered.

What about books or prints?

I think you’ll love your photos even more when they’re printed! You’re very welcome to make your own prints, or for the very best quality I can create beautiful albums of your favourites, and you can order premium prints and wall art directly from your gallery.

Do you provide video, on-site printing or a photobooth?

No, I only provide documentary event photography, and no on-site printing. But I often work alongside photobooths, videographers, and other event services such as magic, music, and planning. If you need any of these services let me know and I’ll be happy to introduce you.

What if we need to cancel or postpone?

For cancellations the deposit is non-refundable to cover the costs of reserving the date, and depending on the notice given there may be a further fee payable. For postponements I may be able to transfer fees paid to the new date, if I’m available. Full terms are detailed in the booking agreement.

Do you photograph weddings?

I photograph weddings in London, across the UK, and around the world, and I have a wedding photography website especially for them, with plenty of galleries and info about my style and approach. Two hours round trip travel included, enough for all central London venues.

For most London events my standard photography package starts at £395 with the first two hours included with additional hours (or part-hours) from £125 each. This includes everything listed above, plus I’ll arrive 20-30 minutes before the event to say hello and set up.
