Earlier this week I posted the wedding ceremony storyboard from Julie and Andrew’s Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photography, including some gorgeous portraits we made in the nearby church grounds. Today I’ve got all the highlights from their reception.
After the ceremony, having covered Kings Road with confetti, and received several shouted “congratulations!” from passing black cab drivers, we all trooped round the corner in full wedding regalia first to the church for portraits, and then to Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea for the reception and lunch. There may only have been a couple of dozen guests but if anything that made the whole afternoon even more special, with plenty of time for everyone to have a moment with the happy couple.
Tom’s Kitchen was the perfect venue, in a private room upstairs flooded with natural light by big airy windows, and topped off by a delicious lunch and some heartfelt speeches from the fathers of both the bride and groom. Congratulations, Julie and Andrew!
