Hello, and congratulations on your engagement! I specialise in natural documentary-style wedding photography, and beautiful heirloom-quality fine art albums that you’ll treasure forever. Your album will be the only lasting physical memento of your wedding day, so I think it’s really important to find a photographer you feel comfortable with, and whose style feels right for you. I take a friendly, unobtrusive approach, and on the day of your wedding I’ll simply fit in around you looking for natural, candid moments and details that capture the atmosphere. That way I’ll be able to create an album that tells the authentic story of your day just the way it happened.
If I’m available for your date and you like the sound of me and my reportage style, I’d love to start getting to know you! My full day weddings are often booked as much as a year in advance so it’s never too soon to get in touch with your date. Just click the button below to drop me a line and we’ll take it from there – I hope to speak to you soon!

How it works
Can we meet you first?
Definitely! I always like to meet up over a few drinks, or we can do a FaceTime or Skype video call. You can tell me all about how you met and who proposed, and all your exciting plans so far. I’ll walk you through everything I’ll do for you, and bring along a few sample albums so you can start getting excited about how your own story will look. And of course you can ask me anything. (except my collar size, I keep forgetting…).
What happens next?
After booking I’ll start working for you straight away, preparing a schedule of the photography and any portraits you’d like, and helping out with any wedding questions that come up. On the day I’ll arrive early to say hello, and you can pretty much leave me to it! Apart from formal portraits nobody needs to pose for the camera. Just relax, enjoy yourselves, and soak up all the love and happiness for your own memories.
What happens after the wedding?
While you’re honeymooning I’ll start editing and processing your photographs, creating your online Photofilm and Gallery, and designing the first draft of your album. You’ll usually get your first look within six to eight weeks, and your finished album is normally in your hands within six months of your wedding, along with a bespoke boxed USB of all your finished digital negatives.
Can our guests see the photos?
Absolutely! Your collection will include a password-protected online gallery and you can either invite your guests to pre-register before the wedding so they get an email when it opens, or you can send out the link and password yourselves when you’re ready. Your guests will also be able to order their favourites as prints or digitals direct from the gallery.
Fine Art Wedding Albums
Your wedding album is much more than something you’re “supposed to have” – it’s your only lasting memento from your wedding day, always there to keep your own memories of your wedding alive for a lifetime. And I really love designing them for my couples. I’m so familiar with your photos by the time I start the design that it’s a pleasure to fit the best moments together to tell the story, and I’m proud to say most couples have their hands on their finished album within six months of their wedding.
But your album isn’t really something for ‘today’ – this is something you’ll have forever. Ten, twenty, even fifty years later, curling up on the sofa with your book to relive all your memories is going to mean so much to you and your family than scrolling through a screen – it’ll probably even become a family heirloom! So for me delivering the finished album to an excited couple is one of the most satisfying moments of the entire journey.
My wedding collection pricing is simple. I include everything that goes into making your photos before, during and after the wedding plus your choice of fine art album, prints, and other physical ways to enjoy your photos for decades to come. When you get in touch we’ll have a quick chat by phone about your plans, then I’ll be able to email over some custom price options, and we’ll book in a full consultation to really start getting to know each other.
A full day starts with eight hours of my time from £1495, although most couples book at least ten hours which is the perfect amount of time to tell the full story of your day from bride or groom prep through to the first dance. But I’ll happily stay as long as you like to be sure I get the best moments – including those all-important shots of Uncle Bob throwing shapes on the dance floor!
My full day weddings get booked up as much as a year in advance so it’s never too soon to get in touch about your date.
Although I prioritise advance booking full-day weddings, for small registry weddings and civil ceremonies I can offer a half-day up to four hours (after four hours I need to charge a full day), and these are available mid-week, at short notice, or out of season. Just drop me a line below for more details.
Am I available for your date?
Just drop me a line and tell me a bit about you and your wedding and I’ll get back to you quick as a flash, or failing that in two shakes of a lamb’s tail, with my availability and plenty more info. Speak to you soon!
