Back in 2014 I had the pleasure of spending the evening with Julie and Andrew and all their friends to photograph the celebrations for their engagement, upstairs at The Elgin in Maida Vale. So I was delighted to be asked back to be their Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photographer when the big day finally arrived.
I love to start early and catch all the nervous excited energy in the room as the groom and invited guests wait for the bride to arrive, and in good wedding tradition we were kept waiting juuuust the right amount of time so that when Julie finally stepped down the aisle with her father it was a thrilling moment for everyone. And they’re such a gorgeous, smiley couple that it was almost impossible to take a bad photo of them!
Today I’m posting the story of their ceremony, and later this week I’ll be posting the second part, their reception at Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea. Congratulations, Julie and Andrew!
